If you were or were not part of the MOODS CD-Release-Party in 1999: Here you can see how it started, how it went on, but fortunately you can not see how it ended...

After a really good long job of writing lyrics, composing songs, playing music in the practice room, turning and twisting the countless knobs and levers of the endless amount of mixers, tapes, computers, analog and digital effect and recording devices, and of course after a really huge amount of alcohol, F6 & die Kontrolleuchten finally came to an end of their hard and pleasant work on their long expected album "MOODS".

But how could the plucky duo promote their shiny, new CD? They had to find a way to play themselves in the hearts of the audience, which was rather decimated by the ultrahard concert conditions and crude stage performances of the
bunkerparties.

One thing was sure right from the start: F6 & die Kontrolleuchten would need to ask young, beautiful and somewhat couraged girls for help to make the album artwork for their CD interesting.

Eil Ndne drew a layout for the CD Cover so the musicians had from now on the opportunity to involve every nice girl they would see in a casting interview.

Many said no. Many said yes and never appeared at the set. A second date was necessary for another shooting. More reliable models had to be found.

The reason for the difficulties were the extremely high demands on the models. The first job seemed to be simple: posing together with the musicians and some swans at the shore of the Maschsee in Hannover, wearing romantic dresses. However, for some reason most applicants did not like the idea to pose on high heels at the edge of a whirlpool wearing bathing suits...

But in the end F6 & die Kontrolleuchten were successful. Five fearless girls agreed to support the guitar duo with their dazzling appearances.

Could there be a better place to evoke the desired romantic atmosphere of the freshly minted record "MOODS" than the Maschsee in Hannover on a quiet late summer day? And what about these nice boats cruising on the lake? After a short thought it was clear: The release of "MOODS" should take place on the flagship of the Maschsee fleet: The "Niedersachsen".

At the 19.9.1999 Capt. Ndne and Capt. F6 set sails on the "Niedersachsen". They achieved the dangerous crossing of the Maschsee in record time to pick up their guests at the northern shore.

Nerves were strung to breaking point: Would it be possible to win the hearts of the audience?

But F6 & die Kontrolleuchten are icecold professionals. They know what they are doing - from the first till the last minute of their concerts there is no place for chance.

Now, live on stage, the weekly practicing paid off.

Every single song follows its very own well composed choreography. All artistic elements are performed with passion and virtuosity. F6 & die Kontrolleuchten FEEL the music in their hearts.

F6 & die Kontrolleuchten are multi-instrumentalists and at home in every genre. They are sure that no such thing as a bad song exists - as long one performs with verve and soul.

The audience was nearly out of control.

The crowds soon gathering at the shores followed the manoevres of the "Niedersachsen" and her noisy crew with great interest and astonishment.

Some days later F6 & Eil Ndne signed the rest of the CDs for the guests who could not make it to the party. F6 & die Kontrolleuchten are greeting every participating fan and say thank you to everyone involved. We had a really good time with you!
